Help clients reach their business goals in delivering high-quality space products on time
See MoreNitrexo is an engineering company specialized in delivering cost-effective solutions for thermal and analytical problems. We have achieved expertise in fields of space and thermal engineering.
This expertise is based upon different projects such as PROBA, MTG, EUCLID, ExoMars, Luna-Resource Lander and MetOp-SG across Europe and hiring of the best in the business.
We provide a wide range of services such as thermal engineering, mechanical engineering, optical engineering, consultancy, training courses, thermal hardware, nanosatellites, payloads, system level, solar panels, mechanisms, instruments, antennas, sensors, mirrors, electronics, optoelectronics devices for satellites, launchers, microelectronic components, and ground support equipment.
A new AI robot designed by Irish space start-up Nitrexo won €500,000 in funding from the European Space Agency (ESA). Developed in response to an ESA call for Covid-19 related projects, The smart software robot is designed for distributed learning and working environments, and uses AI to offer engineers support and guidance when performing analytical work and testing activities. It aims to bridge the gap between engineering education and industry by providing both students and professionals with a ‘study buddy’ and an AI assistant.
The space industry is changing dramatically. We produce quicker, smaller, and cheaper satellites. Most of the technologies created by traditional satellites can now be created with small satellites—for instance, telecommunications with mega constellations operating at LEO (Low Earth Orbit) that will connect the whole world, even some remote parts of the word. The emergence of small launchers dedicated to the small satellites is another example. All of these trends provide easy access to space.
At Nitrexo, we are standardizing space thermal engineering. We developed new standard methods, techniques and processes to significantly reduce the time from building the thermal model to validating or implementing the thermal design of space products by up to 50%, while improving the quality and accuracy of the deliverables at the same time. We significantly reduce the cost, the development cycle of the space product, the risk of not meeting the deadline, the risk of predicting inaccurate results, and the risk of the malfunctioning of the device in space. This particular eBook should be very useful to space thermal engineers and anyone who is involved in designing space systems.
